THE GALLERIE is owned by Mike and Carolee Stout.  We offer exclusive custom framing designs, fine art printing, and truly unique works of art.  Our artists will either hand color one of their exclusive prints to match your color scheme, or paint an entirely new painting to meet your desires and requirements.  If you have a decorating challenge, please come and see us.

Mike is the framer, and he truly enjoys working with the framing material and coming up with uncommon frames and designs.  When Mike retired from the corporate world, he was looking for something creative to do with the unusual free time he found himself with.  Always interested in working with wood, he looked into custom framing to support his daughter, Kathryn of Kathryn Michaels Photography (www.kathryn-michaels.com).  She needed a good framer who who could do something simple but elegant that would highlight her work and set her apart from other photographers.  Together they created a way to frame Kathryn's photographs that is not found anywhere else in the valley.  If you need something framed, Mike can frame it, and if you ever have problems with the frame, he will fix it.  His work is guaranteed for life.

Mike and Carolee lived in Europe for several years and have traveled throughout the world.  While Mike was busy earning a living, Carolee and the children were off and about visiting the famous art museums, galleries and shops of the world.  Carolee developed a real love of art and for the unique and out-of-the-ordinary.  Her home is a bit like a museum itself!  She has brought together a wide array of art for the gallery, including original paintings, limited-edition prints, hand-made pottery, hand-turned wood pieces, art glass, hand-made pens, hand-dipped leaves, stunning photography and much more.  You will not find mass-produced items in our gallery.  You will find art that will beautify your home and set it apart from the typical "made in China" decor we see so much of today.
